The team works with a diverse range of healthcare clients including NHS England, NHS Trusts, GP practices, private hospital groups and healthcare providers across the UK, offering expert advice on workforce matters.

ROLE

  • Collaborate closely with senior team members, receiving support and guidance for your personal and professional development, while taking on significant client responsibility.
  • Provide expert legal advice to a broad spectrum of healthcare clients, spanning NHS organisations, primary care providers and private healthcare groups.
  • Gain exposure to high-level advisory work and employment tribunal litigation, becoming a key player in representing your clients.
  • Handle all aspects of employment law including drafting employment contracts, advising on maternity and paternity rights, managing discrimination and whistleblowing cases, resolving employee relations issues and overseeing disciplinary matters, grievances, dismissals, redundancy, TUPE transfers and tribunal claims.
  • Offer transactional support in employment-related matters.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships through effective communication and by managing client expectations with professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years PQE with experience in employment law.
  • Proven ability to support an employment team, manage a caseload independently and provide clear advice to clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • A natural relationship builder, able to foster long-lasting client connections.
  • A commitment to adhering to legal guidelines and best practice procedures.
