POSITION: Senior Associate or Legal Director (6+ years PQE)

QC Legal are working together with a leading UK law firm in their search for an exceptional lawyer to join their growing Corporate team in Manchester. You must possess a solid background in general corporate law and M&A transactions to bring energy and enthusiasm to our client’s bustling friendly team.
The ideal candidate will be ready to tackle a diverse array of corporate work, stepping beyond repetitive deals to embrace new challenges. You’ll need to demonstrate high technical competence and a deep understanding of corporate transactional mechanics. This role promises an engaging and stimulating workload for those who thrive on variety.
ROLE
- Engage in diverse projects including public and private M&A, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, banking and IPOs.
- Enjoy a high degree of autonomy and client involvement, with encouragement and support to help drive the business forward.
- Support and train junior lawyers in the team.
- Play an active role in business development.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must be a qualified lawyer in England & Wales.
- 6+ years PQE.
- Bring a robust background in general corporate law and private company M&A.
- Exhibit strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrate a passion for networking and relationship-building within the organisation and with clients.
