ROLE
- Assist in the structuring and negotiation of asset-based lending transactions.
- Draft and review legal documentation, including loan agreements, security agreements, and intercreditor agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on relevant regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of transactions.
- Stay updated on market trends and developments in asset-based lending.
- You will also be encouraged to take charge of business development, build strong relationships with clients at networking events and provide training sessions.
REQUIREMENTS
- A qualified solicitor with 0-4 years of post-qualification experience, although specialised knowledge in Asset Based Lending or Trade Finance is not essential. Experience in Receivables, Structured Finance, General Banking, or Restructuring will be a plus.
- A sharp intellect paired with a commercial outlook is essential.
- A curious mindset is important. You should seek to understand clients, their motivations, and what they value, ensuring that your advice is insightful, creative, and impactful.
- Be capable of supporting intricate transactions, coordinating with colleagues from various disciplines as required.
