POSITION: Head of Department – Residential Conveyancing

ROLE 

As the Head of Residential Conveyancing, you will: 

• Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Oversee all aspects of residential property transactions, from initial instruction to completion.
• Provide expert advice and support to clients on all conveyancing matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. 
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance and grow the department. 
• Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 
• Operate from any of the firm’s offices, ideally based in Cumbria. 

REQUIREMENTS 

The ideal candidate will: 

• Be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or licensed conveyancer. 
• Have significant experience in residential conveyancing. 
• Demonstrate proven leadership and management skills. 
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
• Possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. 
• Be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining outstanding client service.
