POSITION: Associates/Senior Managers (6+ years PQE)

QC Legal have exceptional opportunities with one of the Big Four based in their Leeds and Manchester offices. We’re on the lookout for a talented Associates and Senior Managers. We are after a candidate with a solid background in general Corporate Law and M&A transactions to bring energy and enthusiasm to our bustling, friendly team.

The ideal candidate will be ready to tackle a diverse array of corporate work, stepping beyond repetitive deals to embrace new challenges. You’ll need to demonstrate high technical competence and a deep understanding of corporate transactional mechanics. This role promises an engaging and stimulating workload for those who thrive on variety.

ROLE

• Engage in diverse projects including private M&A transactions, corporate group reorganisations (domestic and international), joint ventures, shareholders agreements, LLP deeds, mergers, demergers, and advising on shareholder returns (share buybacks and other capital returns).
• Provide expert advice on VC and PE investment rounds, capital raisings, growth capital, pre and post-sale matters, and management and employee incentive plans.
• Manage certain matters under the supervision of Corporate partners or directors, collaborating closely with other team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• You must be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Bring a robust background in general corporate law and private company M&A
• Possess experience in intra-group corporate and business structuring
• Show a keen interest in working across various corporate areas.
• Primarily a team player but also able to work under own initiative.
• Be willing to engage in business development and networking activities
