ROLE
As a key member of the Employment Department, you will:
- Provide expert legal advice to a diverse client base including company leaders, HR professionals and senior executives.
- Manage a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including tribunal claims, dismissals, redundancy and employee relations.
- Support M&A transactions and advise on employment aspects of corporate deals (TUPE).
- Draft key employment documents, policies and contracts.
- Represent clients in employment tribunals and mediations.
- Contribute to business development and build strong, long-lasting client relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Solicitor status (or equivalent).
- 4-8 years’ PQE with experience in employment law (ideally advisory, contentious and transactional).
- A solid understanding of TUPE, tribunal claims and corporate employment support.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload and deliver sound commercial advice.
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a passion for professional growth.
