QC Legal is proud to partner with a leading UK law firm in their search for an experienced Corporate Senior Associate/Legal Director to join their expanding Corporate team in Manchester. We’re looking for a lawyer with a solid foundation in general corporate law and M&A transactions who can bring energy, expertise and enthusiasm to this vibrant and high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will be ready to step up and handle a broad range of corporate work, moving beyond the routine and embracing new challenges with a forward-thinking, innovative mindset. This role offers an engaging and varied workload that will appeal to those who thrive on complexity and diversity.

ROLE

• Take the lead on a variety of corporate transactions including public and private M&A, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, banking and IPOs.
• Enjoy a high level of autonomy and client involvement, with the support and resources needed to drive business growth and elevate client relationships.
• Provide guidance and training to junior lawyers, fostering development within the team.
• Play an active role in business development, expanding the firm’s reach and influence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified lawyer in England & Wales with 6+ years PQE.
• Strong experience in general corporate law and private company M&A.
• A keen commercial awareness and a client-centric approach to delivering legal solutions.
• A natural flair for networking and building long-lasting relationships both internally and with clients.
