Construction Litigation (4+ years’ PQE) – London
About the job:
Following significant growth to date and further projected growth within this busy team, our client is currently looking to add to their market leading contentious construction team with the addition of a 4+ PQE construction, projects and infrastructure disputes associate.
The key focus of the role will be on domestic and international PFI/PPP disputes and it will provide you with a great deal of autonomy and the responsibility to run your own caseload at this level. The firm’s vast geographical reach means you will advising clients on local and international levels, including throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Americas. The role will offer you the opportunity to gain direct experience in all aspects of disputes avoidance, management and resolution of high quality and highly complex disputes.
The role will be based in the firm’s London office, but will also require frequent travel throughout the UK and to the other international offices.
Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
- a minimum of 4 years’ PQE
- experience gained within a recognised Construction department of a recognised law firm
- a stellar academic background including a minimum 2:1 degree
- the ability to provide clear and practical advice
- excellent interpersonal, communication and legal technical skills
- a commitment to business development and client relationship management is also essential
