OVERVIEW 

Due to significant growth and further projected growth, our client, a top tear global powerhouse with an outstanding reputation in its real estate division is seeking a newly qualified planning lawyer to join them at their offices in the heart of Leeds. This is an outstanding opportunity for a newly qualified to join a future facing team renown their quality of our service, attention to detail and the depth and breadth of their talent.

THE ROLE 

As a newly qualified lawyer at this firm you will be working alongside some of the most highly ranked partners, associates and fee-earners in the industry. You will carry a full and varied caseload from the outset undertaking an array of duties including but not limited to;

  • Assisting with planning, large scale development and highways and other corporate or constitutional and administrative matters to ensure compliance with statutory duties and obligations and to protect the best interests of the client organisations.
  • Advising and negotiating on projects involving multiple agencies and client interests, including the third sector and charitable organisations.
  • To represent clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties in matters regarding the areas of legal practice relevant to the post.

THE CANDIDATE 

The successful candidate will be a ambitious and proactive newly or recently qualified or a junior lawyer who can evidence first rate experience in the relevant sector. You will have a good grounding or genuine interest in planning law aswell as a strong academic track record. Excellent communication, organisation and legal technical skills and a good knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office is also desirable.
