Our client is a top tier City head-quartered firm, which has had a significant global presence for many years. Given further projected growth within this busy team, our client is currently looking to add to its market leading energy, projects and infrastructure team with the addition of a Partner. We will consider candidates who have oil & gas, mining, power including renewables or to a lesser extent, UK infrastructure experience.


Our firm’s vast geographical reach means you will advising clients on local and international levels, including throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Americas. We are market leaders in several of the above spaces and looking to grow further in those areas, or build out where we are less well covered. We also have a strong funds practice, where active clients are looking to invest so we are looking to service their needs on the transactional side. We will consider candidates who focus on M&A, finance, projects, JVs etc.

The role will be based in the firm’s London office, but will also require frequent travel throughout the UK and to our other international offices.


Candidates applying for this position should:

  • Be a Partner in one or more of the above specialisms.
  • Have a following corresponding to level of seniority. Our client is flexible and more junior Partner candidates will be considered, even without a significant following, provided they have strong business building acumen.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and legal technical skills – and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Have a strong commitment to business development and client relationship management. This is a role where the successful candidate will be responsible for growing a practice and taking it to the next level.
