QC Legal is delighted to present this exceptional opportunity for a highly ambitious Costs Lawyer to take on the lead and deal with all aspects of costs law for a highly prestigious law firm. ROLE

• Pursuing costs recoveries including bill drafting.
• Assessing and negotiating settlement of multi-track costs, including handling related costs proceedings.
• Preparing assessment bundles, drafting PODs/ Replies, conducting negotiations.
• To liaise and advise junior fee earners and support staff in relation to the variety of legal costs matters including Drafting Cost Budgets and relevant Precedents.

REQUIREMENTS

• English qualified lawyer.
• A minimum of 8+ years PQE as a costs lawyer.
• An excellent understanding of CPR (Civil Procedure Rules), case law, and costs practice directions.
• Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise accordingly.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Exceptional client care skills.
