As a Corporate Associate, your technical expertise will serve as a springboard, allowing you to fast-track your career to the next level. You’ll take on early responsibility and gain exposure to a wide array of corporate transactions.

ROLE

• Work on all aspects of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, shareholders agreements, joint ventures and limited liability partnership agreements, with a focus on drafting key documents.
• Support public company transactions including IPOs and equity fundraisers.
• Review investment documents, whether acting for investing institutions or management teams on private equity-backed transactions.
• Draft and negotiate the terms of ancillary transaction documents such as completion board minutes, deeds of waivers and resignation letters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support transaction strategies.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver effective, commercially focused legal solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in corporate law and advise clients on potential legal impacts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified lawyer in England & Wales with 2-5 years PQE.
• Strong technical expertise and a desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Experience in independently managing a caseload and providing sound commercial advice.
• Adherence to best practice guidelines and procedures.
