QC Legal is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Legal Director to join the corporate team of a leading firm based in Manchester. We are eager to speak with accomplished legal professionals who can bring their expertise to this exciting and dynamic role. The ideal candidate will provide top-tier legal counsel on a diverse range of corporate law matters including private M&A, private equity, venture capital and transactional work.

ROLE

• Lead corporate transactions and negotiations, representing a range of high-profile clients.
• Take charge of a varied caseload, with significant responsibility for mergers and acquisitions.
• Be proficient in handling private equity transactions, guiding clients through complex deals.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and develop strategies to support successful outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues and external experts to deliver effective legal solutions.
• Stay updated with corporate law developments and advise clients on how these changes could impact their business.

REQUIREMENTS

• A strong background in Corporate law, ideally gained from a large regional, national or international law firm.
• Proven ability to manage M&A and private equity deals with ease.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and impactful advice.
• A problem-solving mindset with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
