Health Employment Lawyer
Are you an experienced Employment Lawyer with a keen interest in the healthcare sector? If so, we have an exceptional opportunity for you to join a highly successful health employment team based in Manchester.
You will provide expert legal advice to a diverse range of healthcare clients, including those in the NHS, primary care, and private health sectors. As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will have the chance to take on significant client responsibility while receiving guidance and mentorship from a senior team member for your professional growth.
- Provide advice to healthcare clients on a wide range of employment matters, covering both contentious and non-contentious issues.
- Handle all aspects of employment law, including drafting employment documents, advising on maternity and paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, disciplinary matters, mediation, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.
- Provide transactional support to clients.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, as well as collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to business development initiatives.
- Demonstrate prior experience supporting an employment team.
- Showcase the ability to manage a caseload effectively, offering sound and pragmatic advice.
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills with the capability to prioritise tasks and thrive under pressure.
- Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Display an understanding of clients’ needs and expectations in the healthcare industry.
